Acme Portable can also upgrade your system with a wide range of ruggedized interfaces and cable accessories. These Mil-Spec interfaces and cables comply with MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F and are intended for use in military and aerospace applications. MIL-Spec cables perform well in applications requiring absolute reliability in physical and demanding environments. These customizations are built to withstand even the harshest environments in applications ranging from battlefields and Navy ships to jet fighters.

Special Cable Examples

Cable assemblies are built with EMI over braid terminated with banding adapters and are protected from abrasion with Gorilla Sleeve. Cable plugs can be supplied with full backshells and/or shrink boots. Continuity and Hi Pot testing is performed on all cables as part of the manufacturing process. For aircraft operations, Teflon wire and LSZH cable jacketing is available. Cable labeling is provided per MIL-STD-130 with a protective over coating.
